"The only Professional Fundraising Organisation
to include dedicated donor monitoring as part of what we do"
There are many ways to incentivise your payroll giving scheme. We will discuss with you to see what may work with your colleagues.
Some ideas are:
- Paying the admin fee
This is a very low cost way of supporting the scheme, but really lends weight to a promotion. All Payroll Giving Agencies charge an admin fee for processing the donations every month, this will range from 25p per donation per month to around 4% per donation per month. However, if you pay these admin fees on behalf of your colleagues, it ensures 100% of their donation reaches their chosen charity.
- Matching
This really does show commitment from the top when you match your colleague's donations. You don't have to match 100% either - though of course it's great if you can! 5%, 10%, 50% top ups on donations are brilliant for the charities and your employees.
- Giveaways
Anything from a pen to a cuddly toy. Who doesn't like a freebie?
- Prizes
Why not offer a day off to one lucky donor? Provide a prize; a bottle of champers, a charity voucher, a hamper. It all helps create a buzz around the promotion.
- Blue Dot
Blue Dot is a scheme where you can reward your employees for doing good things, including payroll giving. It's a bit like a nectar scheme for good deeds and adds an element of fun to proceedings.
